GSense GmbH

GSense GmbH is a specialist consultancy for the geospatial industry. As a newly founded company, it brings together the many years of operational experience of its team to direct and deliver complex projects in large-scale data capture and processing. The portfolio covers the planning and production of high-precision geospatial data products using state-of-the-art survey flight and sensor technology, for municipalities, public authorities, infrastructure operators, planning offices and businesses.

Cajetan Geiger

General Director / COO

Cajetan Geiger has many years of experience in surveying as well as in the execution of aerial photography and LiDAR survey missions. After studying Near Eastern Archaeology and Geosciences at Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) Munich, the Technical University of Munich (TUM), and Ruhr University Bochum, he participated, among other roles as a research associate at LMU Munich, in numerous excavation, survey, and mapping projects across Africa, the Near and Middle East, Europe, South America, and the Caucasus. In addition to terrestrial surveying and the establishment of large-scale geodetic control networks, he gained extensive experience in drone-based photogrammetry and underground surveying. As an aerial survey navigator and head of the flight operations and surveying department of a major German geoinformation company, he further expanded his expertise in the deployment of a wide range of aerial imaging and LiDAR sensors on fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. At GSense GmbH, he serves as General Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing the company's operational management and day-to-day business activities.

Tarek Gamal-Eldin

Production and Sales

Tarek Gamal-Eldin is responsible for Sales and Data Processing within the Business Development division. He built his engineering foundation by studying Industrial and Environmental Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. Immediately after graduation, he specialized in Geoinformatics and qualified as a certified GIS and geospatial data specialist. He has first-hand knowledge of the entire geospatial data production chain, from data acquisition and processing through to final delivery. He gained valuable experience in managing large-scale, data-driven projects, particularly in the fields of photogrammetry and LiDAR technologies, including in his role as Production Manager at an internationally operating geoinformation services provider. Today, he leverages this background to develop new business opportunities and drive the creation of innovative, future-oriented products.

Till Weigert

Data acquisition and tenders

After studying Industrial Engineering at Münster University of Applied Sciences and Geodesy and Geoinformatics at TU Wien, Till Weigert began his career as a surveying engineer in the fields of construction and cadastral surveying. He later gained extensive experience in photogrammetry and remote sensing while working for a renowned aerial surveying company. Through his role as an aerial survey navigator, he became thoroughly familiar with the technical and organizational aspects of flight operations, including mission planning and project management, data acquisition and quality control, as well as the installation and maintenance of survey sensors. Today, at GSense GmbH, he is responsible for data acquisition and tender management.
